About Us
Heritage Elementary School Scholars
All young students should be prepared to think deeply and to think well, regardless of their age. As a country, we have developed as a global leader, in part, through the intelligence and hard work of our scientists, technicians, engineers, mathematicians, and innovators. In a world that is becoming increasingly competitive, it is crucial for the young generations to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve problems, collect and measure data, and evaluate information. These skills are learned by studying science, technology, engineering, arts, and math—subjects collectively referred to as STEAM.
Heritage Elementary plans to provide high-quality STEAM learning opportunities to all students, so they can collectively learn and understand these concepts and use them as foundation for their future careers. We strive to administer equal learning opportunities to ensure that all students have the opportunity to study and become educated on the STEAM subjects.
[STEAM] is more than a school subject…It is an approach to the world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change the world.” –President Barack Obama
At Heritage Elementary, we have articulated a clear priority for STEAM education. Our goal for young students is to provide them the proper education, enabling them to reach their full potential in life.
